Sump Failure in Fraser
This home in Fraser, Michigan experienced sump pump failure which affected most of their basement. It is unknown how long the sump pump had been out. SERVPRO of Fraser pumped water out about four inches of water out of their basement and extracted the water from the carpet and hard surfaces prior to removing the carpet and baseboard. Content was also affected and had to be moved out of the affected area, plus some drywall had to be removed due to the extent of the damage. Once the drying was complete, the basement was dry and sanitized, ready for the homeowner to move on with life.
